ETC gymnasts have ended their season with the ultimate win at the State Meet, held the second week of December at Austin Peay University in Clarksville.

The Level 4 team beat out many other midstate teams to bring home the state championship with an impressive score of 156.275. 

“The girls from each level of competition individually continue to impress the judges, bringing home several first place all around titles in their age groups as well as first second and third place spots in the individual events,” said Amanda Mears, the mother of ETC gymnast Kylie Hunter.

To top off the event, Level 4 gymnast Jurnee Lane ended her season with a perfect 10 on vault, Mears added. Lane took first place in the all-around earning 9.850 on bars, beam and floor, in addition to her perfect 10.

The competition season for these girls may be over, but their work doesn't end here.

These girls will continue to put in between 12-20 hours a week at the gym all year long to prepare for next season. They will also be cheering on the optional girls team and the boys team as they prepare to start their competitions next month.
