MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The Linebaugh Public Library will be hosting Murfreesboro author Julie Byrnes on Friday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m.
Byrnes will be selling and signing copies of her book “Midnight Clear,” which was published by Xulon Press in 2009.
“Midnight Clear” shares the true story of her experience in the summer of 2005, as she stood by the hospital bed of her then 3-year-old daughter who was clinging to life after suffering a stroke.
As the days, nights and even years passed by, Byrnes writes that there was far more to this event that she could initially understand. In this moment of overwhelming darkness, the light of truth came in, and her life was forever changed.
Byrnes calls Murfreesboro home and has lived here since 1986. She is a stay-at-home mom and serves on the board of directors for Special Kids Inc.
Readers will see through her book a new perspective on suffering and hardship, as Byrnes shares what she learned about God, faith and the community through her experience.
Copies of her book are priced at $12 each, and cash or checks will be accepted during the event.
Linebaugh Public Library is located at 105 W. Vine St. in downtown Murfreesboro.
