Do you need help creating or updating your resume? Do you need help knowing what to do once you have your resume ready?
Linebaugh Public Library announces “Resume Assistance” workshops and “Job Search Assistance” workshops in partnership with the United Way’s Project PASS (Preparing Adults for Self Sufficiency). The Project PASS “Resume Assistance” workshops feature one-on-one resume assistance with an expert and take place from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Monday the 5th, 19th and 26th of October. Also, from 4:45 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday the 6th and 20th of October, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday the 16th and 23rd of October. The “Job Search Assistance” workshops are available each Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. except Monday, 12 October. All workshops are free and no pre-registration is required. The workshops will take place in the computer lab on the 2nd floor at Linebaugh Public Library. “Linebaugh is delighted to partner with Project PASS and the United Way to provide resume assistance to our community to help out during these tough times,” said Rita Shacklett, Director of the Linebaugh Public Library System.
