Are you thinking about purchasing an E-book reader and want to know more about what options you have and how the different devices function, or, have you recently purchased a device that will download E-books and you would like to know more about your device and what E-books are available?

Whether traditional print is on its deathbed is debatable, but like it or not, the E-book revolution is well under way.

Amazon released its first Kindle almost three years ago, and in the past year, the segment has exploded with a rush of E-book readers.

With more new devices, technology advances, and ways to get content on the horizon, there's no sign of it stopping any time soon.

E-book readers can be an easy and efficient way to read titles from your favorite authors, especially when riding public transportation, hanging out on the beach, or traveling the world.

They are designed to make your reading experience more enjoyable and less of a hassle. Find out which device is right for you and what resources are available once you have made your decision.

Linebaugh Public Library is sponsoring an E-book reader class and demonstration.

Representatives from Best Buy will be bringing in various E-book readers to demonstrate and there will also be information on how different E-book readers work with E-book sources on the internet.

There will be two classes offered, one in the morning, June 7, 9-11 a.m., and one in the evening, June 23, 6-8 p.m.

The classes are free and open to the public, no pre-registration required.

Linebaugh Public Library is located at 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro. The Library is the cornerstone of our community, enriching lives through free resources for learning, fun, and opportunity.
