The Technology Department of Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro will be giving a demonstration of the "Rasberry PI" computer system at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Linebaugh IT techs, Pete Wood and David Case, will be showing off their personal Rasberry Pi's, showing how they work, and making recommendations on how to purchase one of your own and what operating systems to use.
The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized single-board computer developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of stimulating the teaching of basic computer science in schools but has a potential for numerous other applications.
The demonstration will start promptly at 11 a.m. immediately after the new Linebaugh "Open Lab" time, which begins at 9 a.m. |
