The Linebaugh Public Library will hold its annual Adult Winter Reading Program from Monday, Jan. 28, through Saturday, March 9.

Patrons are challenged to meet a goal of reading and briefly reviewing at least six books over the course of the program. All formats are accepted and count toward the goal of six books.

Patrons may sign up for the program at the circulation desk beginning Tuesday, Jan. 22.

At the conclusion of the program, every person who has met the goal of reading and reviewing at least six books will be awarded a gift card from Barnes & Noble, courtesy of The Friends of Linebaugh Library.

They will also receive a waiver good for up to $10 in library fines.

One person will be randomly selected from among those who have met their goal, and that person will receive a grand prize of gift cards from Maple Street Grill and Barnes & Noble, each having a value of $100.

The 2013 Winter Reading Program is sponsored by The Friends of Linebaugh Library, and through donations from Gary McGuire and O’Possum’s Irish Pub, as well as patrons of the library.

Linebaugh Public Library is located at 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro.
