Over the past year, Democrats have been giving Republicans free political gifts namely: record debt, Obamacare, record unemployment, stimulus failure, broken transparency promises, and terrorist trials in the United States.

Scott Brown, in his run for Ted’s, make that the People’s Seat in the Senate, ran a near perfect campaign against all of it, and won. And the Democrats drone on still, hilarious in their hubris, except it’s not funny..

Their policies, left unchecked, can still do tremendous damage to our economy, security, and fundamentally change our way of life for the worst. Incredibly, Democrats still think they need to stay on message, even in the face of their last three electoral defeats; the President came out and said as much just recently.

I wish I had a nickel for every time sanctimonious Democrats told us what is best. Why, if only we would listen, according to them, our rancid little minds would become more enlightened and therefore accept the path chosen for us.

The problem the Democrats keep running headlong into is the American People are not cattle. The cattle prod that is Obamacare is the wrong instrument of change. And yet they keep applying it to us. It only makes us mad and it makes us vote for the other candidate.

Independent voters Amen, the demographic both parties covet, are deserting Obama. Are Independent voters becoming more enlightened? Or is it perhaps an unintended consequence of Democratic Party governance?
