Default having been made in the terms, conditions, and payments provided in a certain Deed of Trust dated June 8, 2007, executed by JOSE FONSECA VARGAS and wife, LUZ E. CHAVEZ to JOHN E. SPICER, appointed as Successor Trustee in an instrument of record in the Register's Office for Rutherford County, Tennessee, to secure the indebtedness described, the entire indebtedness having been declared due and payable by SOUTHEAST FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION as provided in said Deed of Trust, I, BRYAN D. SPICER, will by virtue of the power and authority vested in me as Successor Trustee, on August 16, 2011, AT 3:30 P.M. Sealed Proposals for Council Chamber Remodel, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be received by the Owner at the City Manager’s Office, Murfreesboro City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, until Monday, August 1, 2011, at 10:00 A.M., Central Daylight Savings Time. Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud.
Plans and other bidding documents shall be obtained by Bidders at the City Manager’s Office, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at the City Council Chamber, Murfreesboro City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. Central Daylight Savings Time. Attendance is not mandatory, but is recommended and encouraged.
Bidders shall be licensed General Contractors as required by applicable laws of the State of Tennessee.
A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of 100% of contract sum, issued by a bonding company licensed in the State of Tennessee and acceptable to Owner, will be required of successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of work under the contract. The Contractor shall deliver the executed, approved bonds to the Owner prior to the execution of the work.

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on August 3, 2011, in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to consider amending the Murfreesboro Sign Ordinance [2011-803]. The first proposed amendments are to make the time limits for appeals and variances under the Sign Ordinance the same as the time limits for appeals and variance under the Zoning Ordinance.
The second part of the proposed amendment is to allow tenants who occupy end or corner spaces in multi-tenant facilities in OG, CM, CL, CU, P, CM-R, CM-RS-8; in the CBD; and in CH, H-I, L-I, and CF zones to have the same signage as is now allowed in PCD, PID and PUD Districts, and in the BP, GDO Districts. These end and corner tenants will be allowed two attached signs, regardless of whether the second exterior wall provides public ingress and egress. A copy of the proposed sign ordinance amendments are available for public review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend. Interested parties may also contact the planning staff at (615) 893-6441.
