NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE'S SALE
WHEREAS, The Carpenters House, Inc., a Tennessee not-for-profit corporation, executed a Deed of Trust to Randall Clemons, Trustee, dated December 11, 2008, of record in Record Book 885, Page 2760, as modified in Record Book 973, Page 1537, Register’s Office for Rutherford County, Tennessee, to secure an indebtedness evidenced by a Promissory Note payable to the order of Wilson Bank & Trust, hereinafter referred to as the “Deed of Trust”; and

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County are eligible to apply for a grant award of $75,865.00 from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), and the U. S. Department of Justice.  The award would be made jointly to the City of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County to be used for law enforcement purposes.  The award requires no local matching funds.
The City of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County have agreed to share the funds, with Murfreesboro receiving $37,933.00 and Rutherford County $37,932.00.  The Murfreesboro City Council and the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners have reviewed the terms and conditions of the application.
The Murfreesboro Police Department proposes to use the City’s share of the award to purchase two-way radios and laptop computers with printers.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department proposes to use Rutherford County’s share of the award to complete their Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) system, and to purchase GPS units.

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Application Z-11-034 by Mr. Steve Wade, is requesting a 7-foot variance of the 35-foot maximum permitted building height in order to allow a 42-foot-tall structure in a Residential Single-Family (RS-10) zone for property located at 1012 East Main Street, which is along the south side of East Main Street east of First Avenue and west of Second Avenue.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
