Advertisement for Bids for the
CONSTRUCTION OF A TRACTOR SHED AT CANNONSBURGH VILLAGE
in the City of Murfreesboro
Sealed bids will be received by the City Manager at the City Manager’s office, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, until 3:00 p.m., May 7, 2012, for Construction of a Tractor Shed at Cannonsburgh Village for the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The bids will be opened and read immediately thereafter. The work will consist of constructing a tractor shed at Cannonsburgh Village.
Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained in the City Manager‘s office, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, or the Parks and Recreation Department’s office, 697 Barfield Crescent Road, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
A contract performance-payment bond of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract price will be required.
No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) days after bids have been opened. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.
Bidding shall be in accordance with the Tennessee General Contractor’s License Law. Bidders on construction of the amount of Twenty-five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars or more must be licensed contractors as required by T.C.A. 62-6-103. Bidders shall place their bid in an envelope showing the bidder’s name, license number, expiration date, and that part of classification applying to the bid in accordance with T.C.A. 62-6-119.  Bids not conforming with this provision shall not be opened.
Bidders are required to submit an affidavit at the bid submission that the contractor has a drug-free workplace that complies with T.C.A. Title 50, Chapter 9.
