MURFREESBORO CITY SCHOOLS
Sealed Proposals for Energy Efficient Schools Initiative for Discovery School at Reeves-Rogers, Murfreesboro City Schools, will be received by the Owner at the Murfreesboro City Schools Administration offices, 2552 South Church Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Plans and other contract documents shall be obtained by Bidders from the office of Johnson+Bailey Architects P.C., 100 East Vine Street, Suite 700, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  A deposit check for Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00), made payable to Johnson+Bailey Architects, will be required for two (2) sets of plans and specifications.  Checks will be refunded to all Bidders who return plans and specifications in good condition within ten (10) days after Proposals are opened, with the exception of the deposit from the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded.  The low Bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be provided with fifteen (15) complete sets of plans and specifications in consideration for the deposit paid.  Bidders are required to submit the plans deposit, obtain contract documents, and register as a bidder with the Architect. The legal notice for the January 25, 2012 regular meeting of the Murfreesboro Board of Zoning Appeals was published in The Murfreesboro Post on January 15, 2012.  It contained one application (Z-12-001) consisting of six different variance requests.  Since that time, the need for a seventh variance request for this application has come to the attention of the Planning Department.  This seventh variance request is described below.  This request is in addition to the six variance requests that were advertised earlier.    
Application Z-12-001 by Mr. Seth Sparkman of Barge Cauthen & Associates, Inc., for First Baptist Church Murfreesboro is requesting the following variance for property located in a Commercial Highway (CH) zone at 200 East Main Street:
• Pertaining to proposed heating and air equipment, a 10-foot variance from the minimum required 42-foot front building setback along South Spring Street for accessory structures as stated in Chart 2 (Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios) of the Zoning Ordinance.
