LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Application Z-12-001 by Mr. Seth Sparkman of Barge Cauthen & Associates, Inc., for First Baptist Church Murfreesboro is requesting the following variances for property located in a Commercial Highway (CH) zone at 200 East Main Street:
• Pertaining to a proposed building addition, a 36-foot variance from the minimum required 42-foot front building setback along South Spring Street for principal structures as stated in Chart 2 (Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios) of the Zoning Ordinance;
• Pertaining to a proposed transformer enclosure, a variance from Section 25(E)(5) of the Zoning Ordinance which states that in all commercial and industrial districts, accessory structures and uses shall comply with the same front setback as is required for the principal structure;
• Pertaining to a proposed transformer enclosure, a 42-foot variance from the minimum required 42-foot front building setback along East Vine Street for accessory structures as stated in Chart 2 (Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios) of the Zoning Ordinance;
• Pertaining to a proposed transformer enclosure, a 35-foot variance from the minimum required 42-foot front building setback along South Spring Street for accessory structures as stated in Chart 2 (Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios) of the Zoning Ordinance;
• Pertaining to proposed heating and air equipment, a variance from Section 25(E)(5) of the Zoning Ordinance which states that in all commercial and industrial districts, accessory structures and uses shall comply with the same front setback as is required for the principal structure; and
• Pertaining to proposed heating and air equipment, a 25-foot variance from the minimum required 42-foot front building setback along East Vine Street for accessory structures as stated in Chart 2 (Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios) of the Zoning Ordinance.

The Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department is accepting sealed bids for a contract to provide repair and recoating of exterior of the concrete water storage tank (Halls Hill Tank).  Bids must be received in hand by 2:00 p.m., February 6, 2012 and may be express mailed or hand delivered to the Water and Sewer Department’s Administrative Office at 300 N. W.
