NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing before the City Council of the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be held in the Council Chambers of the Murfreesboro City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, in said City on Thursday, January 31, 2013, beginning at 7:00 o’clock P.M. for the purpose of considering a proposed amendatory Ordinance 12-OZ-49 amending the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map of the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, constituting a part of said Zoning Ordinance, at which time and place all interested persons may appear and be heard with respect to said Ordinance.  The proposed amendatory Ordinance, if and when effective, will amend said Zoning Ordinance to rezone the territory indicated on the map below from Single-Family Residential Fifteen (RS-15) District to Highway Commercial (CH) District.

Notice is hereby given that on the 4 day of January 2013, Letters Testamentary, in respect of the estate of William M Harrison, deceased, who died December 02, 2012, were issued to the undersigned by the Probate Court of Rutherford County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this Notice if the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) before the date of the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or

Sealed bids will be received by the City Manager at the City Manager’s office, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, until 3:00 p.m., January 28, 2013, for Corrosion Mitigation for Patterson Park Pool Water Slide for the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The bids will be opened and read immediately thereafter.
Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained in the City Manager‘s office, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, or the Parks and Recreation Department’s office, 697
Veterans Parkway, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
A contract performance-payment bond of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract price will be required.
No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) days after bids have been opened. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.
Bidding shall be in accordance with the Tennessee General Contractor’s License Law. Bidders on construction of the amount of Twenty-five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars or more must be
licensed contractors as required by T.C.A. 62-6-103. Bidders shall place their bid in an envelope showing the bidder’s name,
license number, expiration date, and that part of classification applying to the bid in accordance with T.C.A. 62-6-119.  Bids not conforming with this provision shall not be opened.
Bidders are required to submit an affidavit at the bid submission that the contractor has a drug-free workplace that complies with T.C.A. Title 50, Chapter 9.

ELEVATOR ADDITION AT BRADLEY ACADEMY
MURFREESBORO CITY SCHOOLS
Sealed Proposals for Elevator Addition at Bradley Academy, Murfreesboro City Schools, will be received by the Owner at the Murfreesboro City Schools Administration Offices, 2552 South Church Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 2:00 P.M., Central Standard Time. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Plans and other contract documents shall be obtained by Bidders from the office of Johnson+Bailey Architects P.C., 100 East Vine Street, Suite 700, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. A deposit check for Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00), made payable to Johnson+Bailey Architects, will be required for two (2) sets of plans and specifications. Checks will be refunded to all Bidders who return plans and specifications in good condition within ten (10) days after Proposals are opened, with the exception of the deposit from the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded. The low Bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be provided with twelve (12) complete sets of plans and specifications in consideration for the deposit paid. Bidders are required to sumbit the plans deposit, obtain contract documents, and register as a bidder with the Architect. Bids from Contractors not registered with the Architect as a plans holder will not be opened.
