Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing before the City Council of the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be held in the Council Chambers of the Murfreesboro City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, in said City on Thursday, October 13, 2011, beginning at 7:00 o’clock P.M. for the purpose of considering a proposed amendatory ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, as heretofore amended, Ordinance 11-O-33 dealing with amusement rides.  Three copies of the proposed Ordinance are on file with the City Recorder for review by the public.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on October 5, 2011, in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to consider amending the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance found in Chart 2. MINIMUM LOT REQUIREMENTS, MINIMUM YARD REQUIREMENTS AND LAND USE INTESNITY RATIONS within the RM-12 and RM-16 districts to increase the maximum height from 35 feet to 45 feet and to add the limitation that the building may not exceed three stories.  The proposed changes are also to amend Sections 2. INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS to change the misspelled word “gabrel” to the proper spelling   “gambrel”.  A copy of the proposed zoning ordinance amendment is available for public review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing [2011-805].
