LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

 The Bicycle Safety Sub-Committee will hold a public meeting on September 19, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the Mezzanine meeting room of the Planning Department, located at One Public Square South, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

CITY OF MURFREESBORO

ELECTRICIANS & GAS INSTALLERS

All City of Murfreesboro electrical licenses, gas licenses and journeyman registrations will expire on September 30. Licenses may be renewed in person at the Building & Codes Dept. in City Hall, 111 W. Vine St., 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You may also renew by mail, sending required forms and payment to Building & Codes Dept., P. O. Box 1139, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-1139.  Electrical licenses renewed October 1 thru 31 will be subject to a $50.00 late fee; November 1 thru 30 a $100.00 late fee. Gas licenses renewed October 1 thru 31 will be subject to a $25.00 late fee; November 1 thru 30 a $50.00 late fee. No renewals will be accepted after November 30.

 

CITY OF MURFREESBORO APPLICATION FOR

EXEMPTION OF WEEDS AND GRASS ORDIANCE

LEGAL NOTICE OF PENDING EXEMPTION

Applicant Mr. Jim Wood, for Saratoga Park Homeowners Association, is requesting a partial exemption from the weeds and grass ordinance on the property located behind Forrest Pointe and Saratoga Park subdivisions, Tax Map 102 Parcel 48.01, as provided in City Code Section 14-53.  It is requested that a portion of the property return to a natural state or as a wilderness area.

The neighboring landowners within 250 feet of this property have 30 calendar days to object in writing to the Building and Codes Department, P.O. Box 1139, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-1139.  If the City receives no objection, the exemption will be granted.  If the City receives any objection, the Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
