The City of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting Requests for Proposals for the Renovation of Kids’ Castle Playground in Old Fort Park.  The Request for Proposal package is available at the offices of the City Manager in City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130, or the Parks and Recreation office, 697 Barfield Crescent Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37128, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  The submittal deadline is 4:00 p.m. on November 15, 2011, at the City Manager’s office at the above address. This project is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. All proposals must be sealed and marked “Renovation of Kids’ Castle Proposal for Parks and Recreation Department”.

LEGAL NOTICE

Rutherford County invites all qualified, licensed insurance carriers only to bid on the following self-funded plans; medical, dental, vision and pharmacy.  As part of the self-funded arrangement, Rutherford County procures individual stop loss to protect County liability.  All lines of coverage and individual stop loss must be quoted and submitted together.  All bidders must demonstrate integrated and seamless administration between the offerings.  All bidders must have turn-key operations that enable the bidder to accept medical claims data from county-owned employee health centers.  RFP specifications must be strictly followed.  The RFP specifications will be released on November 7, 2011 by the Rutherford County Risk Management department. Data necessary for the completion of the RFP will be released within 5 business days following receipt of a Letter of Intent submitted by the bidder per RFP requirements. 

Sealed proposals must be received NO LATER THAN 4:00 pm CST on December 20, 2011.  Proposals received after such time will be rejected.  Bids will be opened at 4:30 pm CST on December 20, 2011 in Suite 205 of the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse by the Rutherford County Purchasing Committee.  The effective date for all lines of coverage will be July 1, 2012.  For questions pertaining to this RFP process, please visit www.
