LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Budget Sub-Committee of the Rutherford County Regional Planning Commission will meet on February 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Planning Department’s Office located at 1 South Public Square, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to review the proposed FY 2014/2015 Planning and Engineering Budget.
All interested parties are invited to attend.

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 1:00 PM on March 19, 2014 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a redevelopment master plan for McKnight Park located at 2310 Memorial Blvd.   A copy of the proposed redevelopment master plan is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall. Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441. All interested parties are invited to attend.

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Murfreesboro, Parks and Recreation Department, Murfreesboro, Tennessee until 3:00 p.m., February 18, 2014, and at that time opened and publicly read for a July 4th Fireworks Display. Specifications may be obtained at the City Manager's office in City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130, or at the Parks and Recreation office, 697 Veterans Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37128, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. All bids must be sealed and labeled "Parks and Recreation July 4th Fireworks Display Bid.”

CHEMICAL BIDS
The Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department is accepting sealed bids for contracts to supply chemicals for potable water treatment. Bids must be received in hand by 2:00 p.m. March 3, 2014 and may be express mailed or hand delivered to the Water and Sewer administrative offices at 300 N. W. Broad Street, Murfreesboro Tennessee 37130. All bids must be clearly marked 2014-15 WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL BID - ATTN: ALAN CRANFORD on the outside of the envelope. Specifications may be obtained at the Water and Sewer offices.


 

American Towers LLC is proposing to construct a 149-foot overall height monopole telecommunications tower at 1412 Hazelwood Dr, Smyrna, Rutherford County, TN, Tax Parcel ID 003 03804. The new tower structure will not be lit and the tower facility will include a 60’ by 60’ lease area and associated easements, along with a 30-ft buffer surrounding the lease area. American Towers LLC seeks comments from all interested persons on any potential significant impact the proposed action could have on the quality of the human environment pursuant to 47 C.F.R. Section 1.1307, including potential impacts to historic or cultural resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Interested persons may review the project application pending with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications by entering Form 854 File No. A0875972. Interested persons may comment or raise environmental impact concerns about the proposed action by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC. The FCC strongly encourages all interested parties to make such filings online, following the instructions found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest. Paper filings can be sent to: FCC Requests for Environmental Review, Attn: Ramon Williams, 445 12th Street SW, Washington, DC 20554.
