LearningRX Center now open

LearningRx Franchise Corporation announced the opening of the new LearningRx Center located at 2615 Medical Center Pkwy., Suite 1584 in Murfreesboro.

The center, which is officially open for business, is owned and operated by Deana Wildish and Hazel Matheny.

LearningRx specializes in identifying and correcting underlying cognitive skill deficiencies that keep people from achieving their full potential in school, business, or life.

Using a comprehensive skills assessment, LearningRx trainers first identify deficient areas such as auditory or visual processing, attention, comprehension, memory, and problem solving. If weak areas are discovered, certified trainers develop a customized one-on-one “brain training” program that quickly strengthens the deficient skills. The program, which has proven successful for thousands of people across the United States, guarantees at least a two-year improvement in deficient cognitive skills in as little as 12-24 weeks.

Parents report that children who complete the program exhibit improved confidence, grades, self-esteem, and overall achievement.

“We do for the mind what a physical fitness center does for muscle,” said Dr. Ken Gibson, founder of LearningRx. “We make the brain stronger and faster. The potential for improved intellectual ability exists in all of us. The mind has some 70 ‘mental muscles’ which are responsible for how well we learn and function. What LearningRx cognitive skills training does is ‘train the brain’ and enhance those skills in a proprietary process that results in improvement faster and more effectively than any other educational process.”

Deana Wildish and Hazel Matheny, owners and directors of the new LearningRx Center, have extensive backgrounds in education.

Deana holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a master's degree and specialist degree in School Psychology. Hazel holds a bachelor's degree in Education and a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction.

“We first discovered LearningRx while researching opportunities to help students maximize their learning potential,” said Wildish. “After learning about the phenomenal improvements the company’s programs had made in the lives of students, we were inspired to research the program further. Hazel and I found that LearningRx offered effective, affordable programs that help students perform better across the board. Not only that, LearningRx can help students overcome specific learning barriers such as problems with auditory or visual processing, attention, and memory. With LearningRx, we have a unique opportunity to help students boost their confidence in life and learning. What more could we ask for?”

LearningRx has been ranked No. 276 among the “Top 500 Franchises” by Entrepreneur magazine. The company has also been included among the fastest growing franchise systems by Franchise Times and has been among the “Top 100 Franchisers” for the last two years according to Franchise Market Magazine.

The new LearningRx center expects to hire up to twelve additional trainers over the next three months. For more information on the new center, contact Deana Wildish at (615) 867-8717 or visit the company’s website at www.LearningRx.com/Murfreesboro.
