Lascassas man jumped in Murfreesboro parking garage

A Lascassas man told police Feb. 22 that he was beaten unconscious with a skateboard in the upper level of the West Vine Street parking garage, according to a police report.

At St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital the victim told police an older teenager, described as a white male with dark hair, and several others surrounded him and beat him with what he believes was a skateboard, resulting in a loss of consciousness, two black eyes, a shoulder injury and abrasions to the face. He said an older woman helped him after he came to, but at this time there are no witnesses.
