Lady Raiders move up to No. 21 in latest AP Poll

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee women's basketball moved up four spots to No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Monday.

The Blue Raiders (18-3, 7-0 Conference USA) are in the midst of a 17-game winning streak, which ranks fifth in the NCAA.

On Saturday, the Blue Raiders picked up a 67-57 road victory at Tulsa.

The ranking of 21 is the highest for the Blue Raiders in the AP poll since being tabbed 17th in the final poll in 2007. MT along with Arizona State, NC State and Nebraska all moved up four spots this week.

MT continues its road swing with a visit to Southern Miss on Wednesday, FEB. 5, in a 7 p.m. matchup.
