On Saturday, Oct. 13, the La Vergne Public Library will hold its biannual book sale to help fund future literary purchases and services.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 5063 Murfreesboro Road in La Vergne.

Books, DVDs and CDs will be on sale during the event, and monetary donations will also be accepted.

Past book sale events have resulted in total donations that range from $600 to $2,000, said Teresa Wilberscheid, director of the La Vergne Public Library.

The money raised this year will fund book collections, library services and programs throughout the year, she said.

For those unable to attend the event, the library does accept donations throughout the year, whether monetary or in the form of donated books, CDs, and DVDs.

For more information about the book sale, contact the La Vergne Public Library at 615-793-7303.
