La Vergne High School’s drum line and cheerleaders have been invited to perform Friday, March 6 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville with new Nashville country singer, Shea Fisher.
“This is a high profile opportunity for LHS and a great opportunity for these performers to get a first-hand experience in the music industry,” said Edward Freytag, LHS band director.
The groups will be onstage with Fisher during her performance of her new song, "Don't Chase Me" as she is presented to all of the major market radio program directors and DJ's from across the United States.
The event Country Radio Seminar Showcase is for "New Faces" artists in the nationwide country market.
The groups were asked to "back-up" Fisher because her current video begins on a football field with a full drum line and cheerleading squad grooving and rapping as she begins her song.
The La Vergne students will bring Fisher on stage with the exact music and rap as in her video and play her off stage at the conclusion of her performance. |
