La Vergne alderman kicks off re-election bid

La Vergne Alderman Tom Broeker kicked off his bid for re-election with a very successful fundraiser dinner at Willstan's Grille Tuesday evening in La Vergne.

About 80 friends, supporters, and elected officials squeezed in the banquet room to help Broeker start his campaign.

In attendance were Tennessee House candidate Dawn White and Rutherford County Commissioners Rhonda Allen, Carol Cook, Doug Shafer and Robert Stevens, along with La Vergne Mayor Senna Mosley,  La Vergne Rescue Squad Director Dana Blair and Chief Laura Davidson.

Many of these elected officials spoke and applauded Broeker's continual hard work and passion for the city of La Vergne and its residents.

The evening concluded with some comments from Broeker reiterating his desire to see La Vergne continue to move forward and vow to keep fighting and listening to all residents of the city.
