Murfreesboro Police officers located Glen Evans, who allegedly assaulted and kidnapped his wife and son earlier this week, late Thursday night at the Shamrock Apartments on S.E. Broad Street.
The kidnapping occurred Wednesday, when Evans showed up to the apartment where his wife, Lisa Evans, was staying with a friend and allegedly began a verbal altercation with his wife, which reportedly turned violent.
He then reportedly forced his wife and child into a vehicle allegedly being driven by his sister, Amy Albert, forcing the two to leave.
John, the couple’s 16-month-old son, suffered injuries from a fall during the altercation. Lisa Evans told police she pleaded with her husband to take the child to the hospital, but he refused.
Evans was also involved in an alleged assault on his wife Monday, May 17, which took place on Memorial Boulevard. Reports stated that Evans verbally and physically assaulted Lisa Evans after leaving a McDonalds.
According to police reports, Evans was taken into custody Thursday and charged with aggravated burglary, domestic assault, child abuse, child neglect and false imprisonment.
Lisa Evans and her son were transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.
