Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership Kelli Beam has graduated from the Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and has received the recognition of IOM.
The IOM graduate recognition signifies Beam’s completion of 96 hours of course instruction in nonprofit management. The curriculum consists of four weeklong sessions with a combination of required courses and electives encouraging participants to improve their own organizational management skills and add new fuel to their organizations.
“Institute is a rigorous program designed to enhance the leadership, service and organizational skills of nonprofit leaders,” Rutherford County Chamber President Paul Latture said. “We are proud to have Kelli on our team and congratulate her on this great accomplishment.”
Beam joined the Chamber in 2007, previously working as a communications specialist for Gaylord Opryland Hotel and marketing specialist for commercial real estate firm Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. She is a Leadership Rutherford graduate and member of the La Vergne Rotary.
