A witness guided police to a juvenile breaking into a car Tuesday afternoon near his home, Murfreesboro Police reported.
The witness notified police a boy wearing a green and white striped shirt and black shorts broke into a vehicle at 1101 N. Academy Street, Officer Trey Mansfield reported.
Mansfield located the boy on nearby Lokey Avenue and took him back to the witness who identified him. Police charged the 16-year-old boy with auto burglary.
He was booked into Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center where a detention center was set Wednesday. |
