Justin Holder, of the Murfreesboro Northfield office of Bob Parks Realty, was named Rookie of the Year for the entire company at the annual luncheon, held at Embassy Suites in Cool Springs, where owner Bob Parks announced the agents and staff of the company contributed a record $244,700 to charity in 2007, up 9 percent from the year before. 
 
The Rookie of the Year award is given to an agent who has been with the company for up to five years.  Holder who was born in Nashville and has lived in Murfreesboro eight years, started selling real estate with Bob Parks Realty three years ago.
 
Holder moved to Murfreesboro to attend MTSU, with an emphasis in communications and clinical psychology.  He grew up assisting his mother in real estate, in her brokerage of nearly 30 years.  He recently became the youngest member appointed to the board of directors for Murfreesboro's SunTrust Bank.  Holder was named a “Top Producer” in 2004 by a national trade publication, InStore Magazine for taking customer service to a new level.
 
He is an agent for Laurel Brook Homes, one of the premier luxury builders in the area, as well as for the Berkshire, Reserve, Covington and Marymont Springs developments.
 
Holder’s community involvement includes: past president of the Kiwanis Club; a Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Diplomat; a DeToqueville Donor for the United Way of Rutherford County; and a member of the Board of Directors of the Beesley Animal Association, which provides low cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats.
 
Among the dozens of organizations supported by Bob Parks Realty in 2007 are: Make-A-Wish Foundation, Alive Hospice, American Cancer Society, Nashville Humane Association, Nashville Rescue Mission, American Heart Association, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, the TN School for the Blind, and many more.
