Junior League of Murfreesboro will host Bowling to Build, a fundraiser benefiting Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity, on September 20, 2008.
The recipients of the home are Norma & Roshunda Williams. Norma is mentally delayed, and her mother, Roshunda, physically disabled herself, will be staying with her so that they can take care of one another. Norma and Roshunda’s home will be built in LaVergne on a lot donated by Waldron Industries.

Attendees of the event will receive goody bags of samples and coupons for local businesses upon entry and be entered to win door prizes given out throughout the afternoon.

Bowling to Build 2008 will take place at the state-of-the-art Smyrna Bowling Center located 95 Weakley Lane.
Tickets may be purchased from members of the Junior League of Murfreesboro or at local businesses, such as Reeves-Sain. (More business names will be available soon. Also, tickets can be purchased at the door.) Ticket price includes shoe rental and one game of bowling and are priced at $15 for ages over 12; $10 for children ages three to 12; and free for children two and under.

T-shirts are also available for $8, featuring a custom design by local graphic artist Phillip Brown, and each t-shirt purchase includes a pass for a free game of bowling on a future visit.
