The Junior League of Murfreesboro is currently recruiting women for its 2011 New Member Class and will hold an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, at Five Senses Restaurant in Murfreesboro.

Interested individuals who attend will learn about the organization’s structure, mission and membership requirements, as well as have the opportunity to network with current League members.

“This year we will be celebrating 20 years of service to the Murfreesboro community, so the 2011 New Member Class will be extra special,” said Mary Avent, New Member Program chair. “We will look to this year’s new members to continue to shape the future of our League.”

The Junior League of Murfreesboro is an organization of women committed to community service, leadership development and volunteer training.

The organization seeks to build a better community through a commitment to advocacy, leadership, multiculturalism and a commitment to children.
