Joseph “Buddy” Edward Smith, age 38, of Murfreesboro, passed away on June 16, 2012 at his residence. He was a native of Fayetteville but lived in Rutherford County for the past 15 years. Joseph worked for Consolidated Utility District.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Manley Edward Smith and Martha Ennis Smith of Fayetteville; wife, Patricia Nail Smith of Murfreesboro; brother, Thomas (Sherry) Smith of Odenville, AL; and sisters, Shelia (Marcus) Knight of Murfreesboro, Virginia (Eric) Bart of Odenville, AL and Deborah (Ulrik) Eiby of Denmark.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Booneville Cemetery with Terrell Bain officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
