John H. Tucker, age 82 of Murfreesboro, passed away January 10, 2010.
He earned a Purple Heart while in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War and retired from the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joe H. Tucker and is survived by his wife, Martha Haynes Tucker; daughter, Phyllis D. Tucker; sons, Louie Alexander, Johnny Harris, Larry Robinson; sisters, Ora Gaymon, Lucille Malone and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Bradyville Road Church of Christ from 11 a.m. until the funeral starts at 12 noon. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors.
