A jogger grabbed $400 from a woman’s console during a robbery Friday off South Church Street, Murfreesboro Police reported.

Christin Johnson of Prater Court reported she was pulling into her driveway about 8 a.m. when the jogger opened her passenger door and attempted to snatch her purse, Officer Matthew Roe reported. When Johnson struggled over her purse, the jogger grabbed $400 in the center console and fled.

In another case, Officer Mark Wood reported three men robbed Christopher Lee Condra of Sawmill Street about 10 p.m. Friday at Stonewood Apartments on East Clark Boulevard.

The men ordered Condra to step away from his car and asked for his wallet, Wood reported. As Condra gave one suspect his wallet, the suspect punched him in the face, causing Condra to fall.

He was treated for lower back pain and a mark on his left cheek at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

Detective Katrina Henderson is investigating.
