Joe Allen Walker, age 70, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

Mr. Walker was born in Franklin County, Tenn., to the late Renzy and Elon Walker. He was a manager of Commercial Signs and a member of Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ima Gene Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Walker of Mentor, Ohio; children, J. Walker of Lake Mary, Florida; Brad Walker of Murfreesboro; Norma Walker of Murfreesboro; Courtney Odom of Woodbury; Austin Walker of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Union Grove Cemetery, 6370 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Winchester, Tenn., 37398.
