James M. Holton, age 55, of Smyrna died Wednesday. He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late William J. and Joy Rita Wallace Holton. Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday at the Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Raynell Dyer officiating. He is survived by his wife Deborah Holton; a daughter Christmas Anne (Donald) Wakefield, LaVergne; sons William "Bill" Collier Holton, Chattanooga and Christopher Shawn Holton, Smyrna; sisters Janice (John) Hartman, Smyrna and Shelia (Larry) Howell, Nashville; brothers Charles (Betty) Holton, Smyrna and Carl Stevens Jr., Mt. Juliet; grandchildren Kristen, Dustin, and Elizabeth Wakefield, Anara Holton. Mr. Holton was a parts editor for the Lilly Company, a graduate of Central High School in Nashville, and was a US Marine Corps veteran. The family requests memorials may be made to the James M.
