James (Jim) E. Williams, age 69, of Murfreesboro, passed away on May 9, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
He was a native of Rutherford County and lived in Bedford and Rutherford County most of his life. He worked as a Route Salesman for Tennessee Food.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Sewell Williams and Annie Mae Edwards Williams; brothers, Howard and Jesse Williams; and sisters, Dessie Jordan, Evelyn Hall and Effie Brinkley. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Presley Williams; sons, James E. (Rene) Williams Jr. of Murfreesboro and Hank Williams of Murfreesboro; daughter, Sharon Renee (Chris) Hoover of Murfreesboro; brother, John Williams; sisters, Ann Williams, Gail Dixon and Peggy Jean Wilson; and six grandchildren, James E. Williams III, T.J. Reynolds, Jessica Williams, Savannah Hoover, Colbe Williams and Hunter Williams.
Chapel service for Jim will be held 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Frank Lipetri officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
