JAMES H. SELLERS, age 73 of Murfreesboro went to be with the Lord Saturday December 26, 2009. He was a native of Marion, Ohio and was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ann Sellers-Roe; parents, Herbert J. Sellers and Audrey Alspach Sellers Scott. Mr. Sellers was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church and worked as a missionary throughout the world from China to South America to the rebuilding of Gulfport Mississippi after Katrina. He retired in 1996 from Whirlpool Corporation with over 40 years of service and continued to do contract work until 2002.
He is survived by his wife of 55years, Bonnie L. Sellers; sons, Daniel Sellers and his wife Pat of Chicago, Illinois, Mike Sellers and his wife Susan of Dallas, Texas, Scott Sellers and his wife Lynne of Moncova, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Sellers of Illinois and Monty Sellers of Murfreesboro; half-sister, Princess Martin.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be in memory of Mr. Sellers to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be 12noon until 2:00PM on Tuesday at Belle Aire Baptist Church with Funeral service at 2:00PM at Belle-Aire Baptist Church, with Dr. Dean Sisk officiating.
