Ingram adds to library team

Ingram Content Group has announced the appointment and promotion of two executives to its fast-growing library services business.

Dan Sheehan has assumed the role of vice president and general manager of Ingram’s library services group, and Pamela Smith has joined as the vice president of global sales for the library business.

“Ingram Content Group is a growing and dynamic company, and we have an undeniable passion for serving our customers well,” said Shawn Everson, chief commercial officer of Ingram Content Group Inc. “Both bring years of experience and industry knowledge to us, and I look forward to drawing on both Dan and Pamela’s expertise to further strengthen our library solutions for our customers worldwide.”

Sheehan brings nine years of experience at Ingram to his new role.

Smith was most recently a senior vice president at Follett Corporation. During her time there, she was responsible for both Follett Library Resources and BWI brands.

They better watch their backs because at around 12 to 13 years Ingram tends to clean house in the supervisor & mgt. areas. I have not worked there but I know people that did. No notice just call into HR bamm get your purse & jacket & make an appointment to come back after hours to pick up your personal belongings. And by the way, your insurance coverage ends at midnight today. Good luck now out the door.
