Murfreesboro’s own Barre 11 will begin holding classes Saturday, June 16 in its new Georgetown Square location.

“There have been quite a few classes added to our schedule and several class time changes, so please note those changes if you have already signed up for classes after June 16,” Barre 11 owner Jen Ashcraft told her clients.

She also added two Friday morning classes that will be taught by an instructor from the Franklin studio. The 8:30 a.m. Friday session will be a BarreAmped FIRE class, an advanced class that requires pre-approval.

“Correct form is essential for a FIRE class, so please don’t sign up for one of these classes unless you have discussed it with me first,” Ashcraft said. “I want to keep everyone safe.”

Additionally, Ashcraft will be offering private sessions on an appointment basis at the new studio.

“These sessions are a great way to focus on form perfection and to discuss trouble areas for individual clients,” she explained.

Sephora coming to popular department store

Beauty seekers in the Murfreesboro area have reason to celebrate.

Sephora, the ultimate beauty destination, and J.C. Penney Co., one of America’s leading retailers, are opening a location in the new jcpenney department store Friday, June 15, at the Stones River Mall.

And what’s even more beautiful?

The first 450 clients to show up at the grand opening will receive an exclusive Sephora giveaway bag stuffed with fabulous samples.

According to a company press release, each 2,200-square-foot Sephora inside jcpenney location, situated prominently in the center of the store, is a beauty paradise with close to 50 brands.

Hard to find favorites will include cult makeup lines such as Hello Kitty, Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever, NARS, Sephora by OPI, and Smashbox; innovative skincare lines including Philosophy, Murad, Peter Thomas Roth and Ole Henriksen, as well as fragrance offerings from such as Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Dolce and Gabbana.

Plus, Sephora has its own collection of makeup, tools and accessories, and a skincare collection featuring the exclusive plant-derived ingredient HydroSenn+ in a line of products to cleanse, treat, moisturize and protect.

Need a new look?

Come into any Sephora inside a J.C. Penney location for an Express Service at the Sephora Beauty Studio from our makeup and skincare experts who are available to help you master a new beauty look in minutes.

Complimentary services offered include: Smoky Eye, Treat and Conceal, Flawless Foundation, A Clean Start, Lip and Cheek, and Everyday Eye.

What makes Sephora the ultimate beauty destination?

According to the press release, Sephora was the first beauty retailer to employ the unique open-sell philosophy, allowing clients to shop a myriad of brands while encouraging them to touch, play, and try everything from lip glosses to blushes, skincare to fragrance.

The environment provides clients with the freedom to choose between self-service and the advice of Sephora’s exceptional product consultants.

Just as with other Sephora stores, product consultants are well educated in the beauty business.

Since these product consultants are rigorously trained in Sephora educational programs focused on skincare and general beauty, they are able to offer clients a completely non-biased approach when recommending products.

Clients can also enjoy an all-access approach to shopping.

Sephora, the largest online retailer of prestige beauty products, exclusively services J.C. Penney customers’ online beaut needs through jcp.com/sephora.

Since teaming with Sephora in 2006, the retailer has become a major presence in the beauty business.

The Stones River Mall location brings the number of Sephoras inside J.C. Penney locations to 348.
