When it comes to holistic healing, Sadie Coffer provides everything from massage therapy to aromatherapy through her company Harmony Inspired.

“I personalize everything to the client’s needs, so if they do have some sort of issue that they want to work on, they can come to Harmony Inspired and get that specific problem area, hopefully, resolved,” Coffer explained.

She recently relocated Harmony Inspired from South Church Street to downtown Murfreesboro on the second floor of the open-air atrium stairwell, near Maple Street Grill.

In addition to Swedish and deep-tissue massages, Coffer also offers maternity massages, as she is a certified pre-natal massage therapist. As an internationally certified aromatherapist, she makes lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap and even household cleaning products and laundry detergent.

For additional information, visit www.harmonyinspired.massagetherapy.com or call Coffer at 615-424-6912.

With traveling season right around the corner, now is the time to learn about vehicle maintenance.

As part of Car Care Month activities nationwide, Tire World, located at 1211 Memorial Blvd. In Murfreesboro, will offer motorists an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of performing scheduled vehicle maintenance and needed repair from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.

“These free vehicle inspections can disclose potential safety and operational problems because of deficiencies such as low brake fluid or under-inflated tires,” said the store manager.

“Nationwide nine out of 10 vehicles going through check-up lanes in 2009 showed consumer neglect. The top problem areas were motor oil, windshield wipers, air filters, belts and hoses and lights.”

For more information on the upcoming event, contact Rachel Albertson, 615-225-5000 or email rachela@tireworld.us.

Shoppers on Murfreesboro’s historic Square may have noticed the absence of The Colonel Shoppe over the past several months.

General manager William Cooper said that’s because the owners were closed for fashion show season an used the space as a staging area.

He confirmed that the business has reopened as The Colonel’s Boutique in its original location at 107 S. Church St., near Trendy Pieces. However, it will close temporarily in April for additional fashion shows.
