| Home Lawn Field Day Set for August 23 |

UT/TSU Extension staff at the Rutherford County Extension office will play host to a home lawn field day at the Lane Agri-Park office complex from 10 a.m.- noon Saturday.
Participants will learn about improving and/or renovating tall fescue and other cool season turf lawns, late summer and fall weed control strategies and proper soil sampling.
They will also observe the effectiveness of various post emergent crabgrass control products marketed to homeowners and have the opportunity for a question and answer period with extension staff. Equipment and product displays from local vendors will also be on hand.
A portion of the program will take place outside so be prepared for August sunshine.
This event is free and open to anyone interested in or desiring to learn more about home lawn care.
Lane Agri-Park is located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd in Murfreesboro. For additional information, contact the Extension office at 898-7710 during normal business hours, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
