Blackman visited the dreaded The Pit of Lincoln County Friday night and hammered the host team, 41-0, for the Blaze second straight shutout romp under new head coach Phillip Shadowens,

With Smyrna becoming the second straight Rutherford County victim of Brentwood, losing 27-6, Blackman is the only undefeated team remaining in the county,

The Blaze play host to Smyrna next Friday as county teams begin district play in Class 6A.

They have worked hard this past off season and they are hungry. If only the officiating would improve. I am glad that it hasn't mattered so far.

Great start Blackman Football. Glad to see the turn around. With an easy first half schedule other then Smyrna, you must win as many as you can because those last 4 games will be very tuff. Then we will see if Blackman is for real.Good Luck.
