Hershel Flozel Bumbalough, age 71, of Hartsville, passed away on October 1, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was a native of Sparta, TN and lived in Murfreesboro from 1983 until 2005 before moving to Hartsville.
Hershel was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Daisey Fye Bumbalough; and son, Hershel Bumbalough. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Yvonne Bumbalough of Hartsville; daughter, Donna (Todd) Bond of Murfreesboro; brothers, Ezell Bumbalough, Marian Bumbalough, Gordon Bumbalough, and Cordell Bumbalough; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Maver and Mamie Henry; and one grandchild, Dallas Kagen Lynn Hurst.
Chapel service will be held at Jennings and Ayers Chapel on Friday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
