Identity of a suspect who broke into home and stole $1,300 worth of electronics is sought by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, a detective said Friday.

The victim’s video camera captured images of a white man with his hair braided into corn rows moving around inside the home Tuesday in the Old Nashville Highway and Florence Road area, said Detective Steve Brown. The suspect was believed to be in his early 20s.

He drove away in a vehicle believed to be a Chevrolet Blazer or some other type of Chevrolet SUV.

People who have information about the suspect are asked to call Brown at 904-3052 and leave a message.
