Helen R. Markum, 67, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Dawson Springs, Ky.

Birthplace:  Dekalb Co.

Survivors:  Daughter:  Patricia (Tony) Estes of rural Caldwell Co., KY

Son:  David “Led” (Gina) Markum of Woodbury         

5 Grandchildren:  Evelyn Estes of Clarksville, Andrew Bullock & Taylor Bullock both of Woodbury,  Levi & Luke Estes of KY

Brother:  David (Sue) Kirby of McMinnville

Sister:  Violet Jo (Chuck) Turner of McMinnville

Ms. Markum was preceded in death by her parents, Loring Kirby & Nadell Reeder Laymen; her husband, Robert Markum and brothers, James Edward Kirby & Ray Don Kirby.
 
A member of the Baptist Church, She worked at Oster for 27 years.
