An intense robbery took place Saturday evening at 412 Sherrill Blvd. and four people were held at gunpoint.

Jesse Foe and two friends, Stephen Johnson and Marissa Kinser, went to pick up Foe’s girlfriend, Jessica Coranzza.

While waiting on his girlfriend, Foe saw a man come around the corner of the house. That man held a gun to Foe’s head and immediately asked that he empty out his pockets.

Foe identified the suspect as George Simpson. Once Simpson had robbed Foe of his money, he then proceeded to call both Johnson and Kinser into the house.

He held all of the victims hostage until Johnson threatened the robber with a knife that was held in his pocket. A shot was fired at Johnson as he reached for the weapon, but missed.

After the shot all of the victims promptly fled the scene. Simpson is being charged with strong-armed robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and theft under $500.
