Greenhouse to hold Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

Greenhouse Ministries holds the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 5.

The program will include prayers by many local dignitaries and business leaders honoring the mayors of the Cities of Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, and Eagleville, as well as the Mayor of Rutherford County. 

Greenhouse Ministries is pleased to host Raymond Berry, member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as the featured speaker for this event.  Berry’s all-star football career included playing with the Baltimore Colts, as well as coaching the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX.

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Embassy Suites on Medical Center Parkway. 

Tickets to this annual event are $40 apiece or $300 for a table of 8. Event sponsorships are also available. 

The program begins at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast served at 6:45 a.m. All proceeds from the event benefit the programs and services of Greenhouse Ministries.

Greenhouse Ministries is a human services agency that seeks to plant “HOPE in the ‘Boro” by offering assistance with adult education, food, furniture and homeless housing.
