Two suspects in robberies of country stores were indicted on aggravated robbery and aggravated assault charges during the January term of the grand jury.
Defendants Leslie Fetters, 37, of Smyrna and Mary P. Reynolds, 43, of Nissan Drive in Smyrna, were charged with the Sept. 14 robbery of Midland Market, sheriff’s detectives Scott Tillman and Steve Kohler reported. Also, Fetters was charged with the Aug. 28 robbery of the Citgo Family Market
The detectives accused them of robbing the Citgo Family market at gunpoint. They were apprehended moments after the robber of Midland Market. They ere also indicted for theft.
Another set of indictments charged Charles K. Irish, 30, of Crickett Lane, with aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, evading arrest with automobile, DUI, driving on revoked license (seventh count), felony evading arrest, theft and domestic assault.
Sheriff’s Cpl. Ryan Huggins accused Irish of striking his girlfriend, Jenny Barrett, with a beer bottle and pulling a knife on her Sept 15. He was accused of endangering people getting gas at Crossroads Market in Walter Hill.
In an unrelated case, Andrew P. Hinson, 30, of Asa Court in Smyrna was indicted on rape and statutory rape charges.
Sheriff’s Detective Bryant Gregory accused Hinson of raping a 14-year-old in October.
Two people were indicted on child abuse charges.
In another case, Vicki Lynn Bain, 47, of Twin Oak Drive, was charged with child abuse/neglect under age 6.
Sheriff’s Deputy Nathan Devers accused Bain of child abuse when he found her 15-month-old grandchild wearing only an onesie July 27 while wandering in the road.
Also, Ricky L. Palmer, 26, of Nashville was accused of hitting a 9-month-old baby Oct. 28-29, La Vergne Officer David Durham reported.
In another case, defendant James F. Mason, 45, of Cranor Road was charged with striking Tonya Linde April 12 outside a bar on Old Woodbury Highway, Deputy Shane Vaughn reported. She was found lying on the ground. He was leaving the bar.
In another set of indictments, Mason and girlfriend Brandi Ygleias, both of Cranor Road, were charged with initiating the process to manufacture methamphetamine after sheriffs Detective Jerremy Weaver recovered a 15-1/2 grams of methamphetamine in a plastic bottle Feb. 3. They were also charged with felony possession of Schedule II drug with intent to sell and possession of a weapon a felon.
Defendants will receive copies of their indictments Tuesday from Circuit Court Judge David Bragg on the fourth floor of the Judicial Building. Grand jurors indicted more than 122 cases this month.

Mary Beth Beard, theft, fraudulent use of a credit card (nine counts), forgery (four counts), theft of identity (four counts).
Raymond A. Bertrand, domestic assault.
Bryan K. Blanton, driving while declared motor vehicle habitual offender.
Charlie Bradford Jr., DUI (second offense), felony evading arrest.
Dustin L. Britt, theft, evading arrest, possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated burglary (18 counts), theft (18 counts).
Carolyn Carr, theft.
Oscar Castillo, theft of identity, false report.
Nicholas D. Childress, criminal trespass, felonious possession of marijuana, escape.
David L. Clayborne, domestic assault (two counts), aggravated assault, child abuse.
Lance Collier, aggravated assault.
Pamela R. Cooper, forgery (eight counts).
Danielle Cox, fraudulent use of a credit card (two counts), theft of identity (two counts).
Willie David, evading arrest.
Darren Dobbins, aggravated assault.

Reberta Duke, prescription fraud, (four counts), theft of identity (four counts).
