The Rutherford County Republican Party announced the formation of a Rutherford County Teenage Republican Chapter.
This conservative organization was founded on the idea that teens need to be equipped with the information to make knowledgeable political decisions in the future.
Vijay Putatunda, Webb School, will lead the initial expansion of the new Rutherford County Teenage Republicans, and is aspiring for a chapter in each of our county high schools, to educate politically-minded teenagers on Republican values, historical contributions as well as the party’s current agenda.
This conservative organization will also create a forum for teens to discuss and formulate individual beliefs. Members will have the opportunity to volunteer and participate in the upcoming gubernatorial and local campaigns as well as many other politically enriching experiences.
These efforts will ensure a more politically active community in Rutherford County as well as strengthen the current conservative movement throughout the United States.
