Linebaugh Public Library System wants to help make your holiday shopping easier. Through its Café Press store and MyLibrary Bookstore, you can find great presents for the readers on your list – while also supporting your community’s public library.
The Friends of Linebaugh Library Café Press store offers a variety of shirts, hats, stickers, tote bags, and much more, all decorated with Mattie the Toucan and the slogan “You Tou-can Read!” These items make great gifts or stocking stuffers for readers, no matter where they live. The store can be found at www.cafepress.com/FriendofLibrary.
MyLibrary Bookstore is an online bookstore available at linebaugh.mylibrarybookstore.com. The bookstore carries all the latest and greatest books, popular DVDs, and music from dozens of genres, just like other online bookstores. What makes MyLibrary Bookstore different is that proceeds from purchases directly benefit LPLS.
“Purchases made through the Café Press store and MyLibrary Bookstore help support our library system, and they’re also a great way to encourage reading,” said LPLS Director Rita Shacklett.
Need a few suggestions for the right book to give? Check out What to Give This Holiday Season, at www.linebaugh.org, for a list of recommendations from LPLS staff. Not sure what to give to that person on your list who already has everything? Consider selecting an item from one of the LPLS Giving Trees. You can purchase a book, audiobook, or DVD for your local library in honor of a friend, co-worker, or loved one.
