Geneva Simpson Brandon, of Woodbury, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at Stones River Hospital. She was 84.

Survivors:

Children: Carolyn (Henry) Alford, Ellis (Teresa) Brandon, Lynn (Mitzi) Brandon and Charley “Jr.” (Paula) Brandon all of Woodbury and Gail (Ray) Spry of Manchester

Sister-in-law: Elizabeth Simpson of Woodbury

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews

Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her parents, Hilary & Eunice Jones Simpson; her husband, Charles Seymour Brandon; a son, Melvin Brent Brandon; siblings, Alvie, Sterling and Robert Simpson; Sisters, Opal Sanders, Ellen Brandon and Dorothy Collins.
 
Geneva loved to cook and have her family for dinner.  She also enjoyed quilting and made all of the grandchildren baby quilts.  She was a member of the Baptist Church and a housewife.
 
Funeral Service:  Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home     When: 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3
 
Minister:  Bro. Mark Stinnett & Bro. Herb Alsup               Interment:  Cateston Cemetery

Visitation:  3:00 PM until 9 PM Saturday, March 2

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cateston Cemetery and
the American Lung Assoc.
